There will be loads of family activities, soup, apple pressing (mmm juice) and a chance to see some of the other fruity projects on the St Ann’s Allotments.
All for free (though donations are welcome)

St Ann’s Allotments in Nottingham is a very special and unique allotment site. It is the oldest and largest area of Victorian detached town gardens in the world and is listed Grade 2* by English Heritage. The site covers 75 acres and sits in the heart of the city. With 32 miles of hedgerows, plenty of mature trees and hundreds of varieties of fruit trees, it is also a haven for wildlife. It’s not your average allotment site!
Our open days give you a chance to look around this amazing place. We offer guided heritage and wildlife tours, open gardens – including our own Heritage Display plot, Urban Nature wildlife area and Community Orchard, local food, tea and coffee, and home-made cakes.
We will also be joining in with the Heritage Open Days theme of People Power.
