Beurré Superfin X Williams’ Bon Chrétien.
Raised 1938 by H.M Tydeman at East Malling Research Station. Recommended for release in 1969 and named in 1974.
Compact, reliable and heavy cropping with pleasant flavour. A good garden cultivar

Colouredpale green turning pale yellow, sometimes very faint orange-pink flush and variable amounts of russet. Flesh is creamy white and juicy; melting, sweet, good flavour
Shaped conical to short-conical, and sized small-medium

Pick late August-early September, season early-mid September
