Doyenné du Comice X Conference
Raised at HRI East Malling and selected 1977.
Concorde makes a compact tree and fruits very heavily. It is very suitable for cordon training and a good garden cultivar. It is grown commercially in Britain as well as other countries

Coloured pale green turning yellow, some fruits have large amounts of golden or brown russet in patches or dots, others have very little. Some fruits on certain sites can be flushed orange/red with broad indistinct stripes.
Shaped pyriform to calabasse and skin texture is dependant on amount of russet.
Sized medium-large.
Flesh is pale yellow, sweet, juicy, melting, buttery, fine texture with a pleasant mild flavour
