St Anns Community Orchard

St Anns Community Orchard is a lively hub of community and educational activity enjoyed by many local families, community groups and schools.

With space to learn and play and a dedicated team of project workers who bring nature to life, the Orchard is a magical place.

The Nursery is home to STAA’s Growing to Grow Project and our Harvest Project.

Working with local  community groups this site provides both social and learning opportunities to many members of the local community.

Urban nature is our wildlife and conservation project.

It is a wild oasis in the heart of the city that offers the opportunity to experience and learn about conservation and habitat.

The Heritage Garden

Our beautiful Heritage Garden with its wonderful Victorian Glasshouse and quaint Summer house is a magnet for visitors to St Anns Allotments and is home to a wealth of horticultural history and information.

You can visit the garden as part of the Talks and Tours programme run by our wonderful STAA volunteers.

To introduce you to the rich and fascinating history St Anns Allotments. We’ve constructed a Virtual Tour featuring some of the highlights of our heritage talks & tours.

Our popular tours are led by the dedicated STAA volunteers who will take you back to Victorian Nottingham and the formation of St Anns Allotments.
